Earlier this summer, with the assistance of the City of Cambridge Fire Department, Housing Cambridge conducted fire drills at our three senior’s buildings. This vitally important process is carried out every year to ensure the safety of all of our residents. For each drill, the fire department simulated a fire that allowed residents an opportunity to practice the process of evacuating the building.

Representatives of the fire department also took a few minutes to explain to the residents the importance of participating in these drills, and to answer any questions residents might have had. To top it all off, residents came together after the drill to share a meal, courtesy of Housing Cambridge.
