Our First Family Site Garden Contest

2020 has been a year of many firsts. Among these is the first ever Housing Cambridge Family Site Garden Contest. Earlier this summer, we encouraged the residents of our seven townhouse complexes to utilize their front porches and flower beds to create the most vibrant and beautiful gardens possible. At the end of the summer we went around to see what our residents were able to create, and we were certainly not disappointed with the results! Our tenants showed amazing creativity and ingenuity maximizing the space they had to work with, sometimes incorporating tree stumps, fire hydrants, or other obstacles into the final product.

After looking at and considering gardens from across our portfolio, we have decided that our grand prize winner is 35-50 Mullin Crescent! Our second place runner up is ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­22-75 Anglerock Drive, and our third place runner up is 18-325 Myers Road. There were so many beautiful gardens, in fact, that we would like to highlight 55-182 Queen Street West, 4-70 Elgin Street South, 22B Borden Street, and 10-55 Valleyview Road as fourth place runners up.

We thank all of our residents for their hard work in making our townhouse complexes look so bright and colourful, and we are already excited to see the beautiful creations our residents come up with next year.
