Some images from a walk-through of the Satelite Motel today. Say what you will about the Satelite…but it’s been an interesting and colourful part of this town for more than 50 years. If those walls could talk I’m sure it would be a lot of good, bad and off-beat. Today marked the beginning of the end for the complex. The building is being secured in preparation for demolition. The site should be level by the end of the year. Building starts in the spring for the new chapter. It will offer a mixed income site with both affordable and units rented at full market value.
